Super Eagles stars, Ahmed Musa and Alex Iwobi celebrated in their dressing room with team-mates and officials after securing 2019 African Cup of Nations qualification.
The duo lead Gernot Rohr’s men to play a 1-1 draw with South Africa in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixture at the BFN Stadium in Johannesburg.
An own goal from South Africa defender, Buhle Mkhwanazi, and a strike from striker, Lebo Mothiba ensured Rohr’s side got a point against the hosts.
The celebrations kick-started as soon as the final whistle was blown, with fans at the stadium holding banners aloft, and Musa, Iwobi and co punching the air with their fists.
The euphoria was carried on into the dressing room as Kelechi Iheancho brought out his phone to capture the fun.
In the video, the Super Eagles were singing praises to God and at the same time dancing and clapping their hands.
Nigeria will face Seychelles in their final Group E game in March 2019, while Libya who must win to qualify for the 2019 AFCON will host South Africa in Sfax, Tunisia in their final game.
