A new Kwandi Nunguraya (Chief of Lunguda Kingdom) has been named. He is Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda.
The new chief will rule the Lunguda Kingdom (in Guyuk Local Government Area, in the southern part of Adamawa State), as a first class chief, according to a statement released Thursday by the state Director General of Media and Communications, Solomon Kumangar.
The new king was born on 12 October, 1974.
Kumangar said a letter conveying the approval of Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has since been delivered to the New Kwandi Nunguraya by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Bashir Ahmad, accompanied to Guyuk by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs, Mrs. Mary Kadzai.
DAILY POST gathered that Kwandi Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda was until his new appointment a Senior Executive Officer with the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM).
