A statement issued on Wednesday by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Malam Ahmad Sajoh, said that the governor has assented to the bill.

“The bill is now to be known as Adamawa State Law No. 5 of 2016 which amends Adamawa State Local Governments System Administration Law No. 4 of 2000,’’ Sajoh said.
