Chelsea have confirmed that Fernando Torres has completed a permanent transfer to AC Milan.
The Spanish striker, who is the most expensive player in the history of the English game, cost the Blues a hefty £50million, but never got going at Stamford Bridge.
He initially moved to the Serie A club on a two-year deal, where he did not impress new boss Filippo Inzaghi.
It is however understood that this new development, is to help facilitate a loan move back to his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid.
