Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and Governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo have reacted to earth tremor which caused scare in parts of Abuja.
DAILY POST had reported that residents of several parts of the federal capital were thrown into panic following the occurrence of earth tremors.

Speaking on the development, Atiku used his Twitter handle to encourage residents not to panic, and called on the authorities to investigate the situation.
His tweet read: ” I wish to encourage inhabitants of Abuja not to panic following reported cases of tremor experienced in some parts of the city.
“It will be reassuring to citizens for the relevant authorities to investigate the situation.”
Also weighing in, Dankwambo, in a post on his Twitter page, advised Abuja residents to take precautionary measures if an emergency situation occurs.
He wrote, “I have been following the conversation on the earth tremors in our Nation’s capital.
“I urge everyone to stay safe and calm. I strongly believe that the appropriate authorities are monitoring the situation and will advise on measures when the need arises.”
