Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

The case involving the Adamawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa was on Wednesday stalled by the absence of the presiding judge, Justice Ambrose Mammadi at the Yola High Court.

A member of the House of Representives, Mubi South Constituency, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abubakar, had dragged the Speaker and the Assembly to court, challenging the dissolution of the House Committee on Finance, which he is chairman and his suspension from the House for three months.

It was, however, learnt that the Judge who was to hear the case on Wednesday, was yet to return from Abuja, where he went to attend the Judges’ Conference, leading to the adjournment of the case till December 19, 2015.
