Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is ready to release funds for Jose Mourinho to buy at least three more players, after they were humiliated by Manchester City on Sunday.
The Premier League champions are yet to win a game this season and were hammered 3-0 at the Etihad.
Mourinho pulled out captain John Terry during half-time and it has been widely interpreted as a sign of his dissatisfaction with his squad strength.
With the transfer window closing in two weeks, Abramovich is set to give his manager green light to bring in reinforcements.
Chelsea hold a long term interest in Everton defender, John Stones and have had two bids rejected. The Toffees are looking at a fee around £34m for the 21-year-old.
Mourinho also wants to add a central midfielder and one more attacking player to his team.
