About 105 soldiers feared missing after confrontation with Boko Haram

DAILY POST has gathered that an intense attack from Boko Haram insurgents at Gudunbali, Borno State, on Wednesday resulted in the 157 Battalion of the Nigerian Army not being able to account for at least, 105 soldiers including their commanding officer.

In a telephone chat with the Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman to confirm the incident, he noted he cannot comment on the unfortunate incident for now, but that the Theatre Commander, Maj.-Gen. Yushau Abubakar, who has more details will be addressing the press on the development any moment from now.

He, however, did not deny the incident and did not make further comment.
