Kennedy Boboye has been appointed as the new coach of Abia Warriors.
The former Sunshine Stars tactician, was unveiled by the management of the Ochendo Warriors on Thursday, in an event witnessed by the club’s fans and well wishers in Umuahia.
Chairman of the club, Emeka Inyama, stated that the team was happy to have Boboye and expressed his admiration for his “technical qualities and coaching experience”.
Inyama also tasked the new manager, to win the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title and clinch a continental ticket for the club.
Boboye guided Sunshine Stars to a sixth place finish last season and replaces Ladan Bosso, who left Abia Warriors after two years in charge.
