Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed immediate and complete dissolution of the State Executive Council (EXCO) along with all political appointees.
This was contained in a terse statement signed by Permanent Secretary, Government House, Umuahia, Mr. Bernard Ogbonna, and forwarded to DAILY POST on Tuesday night.
The statement reads, “Affected officials are to hand over to the relevant Permanent Secretaries or to the next most senior civil servant.”
The Governor expressed his appreciation to them for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavors.
