The Court of Appeal in Owerri has sacked the governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The court upheld the verdict of the tribunal, which earlier ruled in favour of Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
The respondents, Okezie Ikpeazu, and PDP had gone on appeal against the decision of the Tribunal that all preliminary objections shall be taken along with the substantive petition.
A total of three motions were presented to the court by the plaintiff.
Two of the motions were discarded by the court, and the court proceeded on just one motion.
