A Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia, the Abia state capital, has granted an exparte motion in a suit brought before it by one Isaac Alozie, against the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, the executive chairman of Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of the state, Chief Ginger Onwusibe, and the State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Chief Johnson Onuigbo.
The court presided by Justice E.N Anyadike, also directed the CCB,”To invite, investigate and prosecute Onwusibe, for his refusal and failure to declare his assets upon his assumption of office as the executive chairman of Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area.
The court equally, “ordered substituted service on the respondents by delivering the processes in the suit to any senior officer at their respective offices.
The case was, however, adjourned till 8th day of November, 2018.
Meanwhile, Onwusibe has insisted that he duly filed and submitted his assets declaration form to the CCB office in the state.
The LG chairman while reacting on the legal suit against him said he fulfilled his civil obligations as he would not comment more on the matter as it is before the court.
