Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia central zone in the National Assembly, Theodore Orji, has described Abia as a PDP state.

He boasted that come 2019 election, the ruling party in the state will win again.

Senator Orji stated this on Thursday evening, through his Aide, Suleiman Ukandu against the backdrop of the boast by some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state to use federal might to unseat him and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu PDP-led government in the upcoming 2019 election.

He said he was unperturbed by the machination of the opposition, pointing out that the people of Abia state would return him and the governor in 2019 based on their outstanding performances since assumption of office.

According to the ex-governor, “Abia is PDP. PDP is Abia. No amount of propaganda and name calling by the opposition will deter us from providing the people of the state dividends of democracy.

“I have attracted a lot of projects in Abia central senatorial zone. The people are being empowered to be self dependence. I am not worry over their evil plot, because I know the opposition has nothing to offer Abia people.

“As 2019 election is fast approaching, I believe, the people of Abia central zone and indeed Abians would massively vote for PDP, because we have delivered on our promises”.

“Every nook and crannies of Abia State has felt the impact of the government. We have carried out several infrastructural projects in the state, which well meaning Abians can testify to. So, I’m not worried,” he added.
