Abia 2019: Alex Otti reacts to charter of equity, blasts Gov. Ikpeazu, PDP over alleged monumental f

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), Dr. Alex OttI, has said he has been vindicated by Okezie Ikpeazu and the PDP following their campaign that Ikpeazu should be returned as governor on the basis of equity, even when they know he(Governor) has failed to perform.

Otti maintained that he knew that the governor and PDP would resort to whipping up primordial and primitive sentiments in a bid to seek reelection knowing very well that Ikpeazu has failed woefully as governor of Abia state.

The APGA chieftain, made this known in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma, and forwarded to DAILY POST on Thursday morning.

He wondered what the governor has put on ground to warrant him seeking reelection, and called on Abians to distance themselves from Ikpeazu and PDP because they have spent over three years lying to Abians with reckless abandon.

According to Otti “Public office is all about honour and integrity, it’s about sincerity to the people , it’s about probity and accountability, it’s a about excellence propelled by knowledge and vision, and of course it’s about individual coordination and organization inspired by character; sadly, the Ikpeazu led government lacks these basic leadership traits”.

He continued “Ikpeazu has consciously brought destructive dichotomy into our civil service in a bid not to pay workers after owing them several months of arrears. Our senior citizens who served the state meritoriously in different capacities and retired are being starved to death by the Okezie Ikpeazu led government.

“Under Ikpeazu’s watch, state owned academic institutions are collapsing with speed both in the area of infrastructure and staff morale. Our health institutions are becoming mortuaries, because infrastructures are neither provided nor staff welfare taken care of.

“Under Ikpeazu, heaps of refuse now decorate different parts of the state, because the governor who used ASEPA as one of his campaign points in 2015, has abandoned the agency, and also proven to Abians that he never performed well at ASEPA. Should we talk about the frightening Abia’s debt profile which endangers the future of the Abia unborn generations, Otti queried?

The renowned financial expert insisted that, “he wasn’t surprised Governor Ikpeazu failed, because, according to him, Ikpeazu never wanted to be governor, was never prepared to govern a people, never had a manifesto, and thus was confused from day one”.

The APGA chieftain reminded Abians of all classes the need to troop out en mass and vote massively for APGA, assuring that Ikpeazu and PDP would not have any breathing space to steal their votes.
