A female lawyer from Kogi State, Rabiah Ozavize Ovosi, who was kidnapped on Friday, has been released. DAILY POST gathered that the legal practitioner regained her freedom Sunday evening.

According to a family source who confirmed her release, her abductors abandoned her between Osara and Mack farm, along Lokoja Okene road, Kogi State.

The family source who don’t want his name in print failed to disclose whether ransom was paid to effect the release of the legal practitioner.

“As I speak to you, she is back home, hale and hearty and has since reunited with her family.

We give glory to God. On the issue of ransom, that is a family thing, we are keeping it to our heart and we don’t want to talk about it”, he stated.

When contacted to confirm the development, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, ASP William Aya did not respond to text messages and calls put across to him.
