Abati insists BringBackOurGirls campaigners out to unseat Jonathan

The Presidency has claimed that sponsors of the BringBackOurGirls campaigns were out to unseat President Goodluck Jonathan.

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, while reacting to their constant protests took to his Twitter handle yesterday, asserting that the presence of some leaders of the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners at Wednesday’s presidential declaration of General Muhammadu Buhari confirmed that their aim was to remove Mr. President.

He said the presence of the group’s leaders confirmed the politicisation of the abduction of the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls.

He wrote: “Our longstanding view of BBOG movement’s hidden agenda to unseat the Jonathan administration received full justification yesterday (Wednesday.) Roles played by Dino Melaye and the presence of #BBOG’s initiator, Hadiza Bala Usman, at Buhari’s declaration is proof of the true aim of politicising the agony of the Chibok girls and their families.

“This is now fully apparent, the true agenda and prime movers of #BBOG movement. APC chieftains-BBOG activists.”
