Barcelona drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night, to book their place in the final of the Copa del Rey, winning the semi-final tie on a 3-2 aggregate.

Luis Enrique’s men won the first leg 2-1 at the Vicente Calderon.

The return leg was a dramatic affair at the Camp Nou.

Luis Suarez put the hosts in front, after Atletico missed a couple of early chances. Both sides were then reduced to 10 men, after Sergi Roberto and Yannick Carrasco were sent off.

Kevin Gameiro missed a penalty in the 79th minute, as Diego Simeone’s men tried to equalize in the second half, but made amends few minutes later after great work from Antoine Griezmann.

Suarez was also shown a red card, as Enrique’s men finished with 9 men.

Barca will now take on Celta Vigo or Alaves for the first silverware of the Spanish season.
