7-year-old girl dies after brutal torture from step mother in Kaduna [PHOTOS]

A tragic incident played out on Monday as a seven-year-old girl, simply identified as Zainab, was allegedly tortured to death by her step mother in Kaduna state.

While reports remain sketchy, DAILY POST gathered that the unnamed woman had been torturing the minor for quite some time.

The last straw that broke the camel’s back was when the step mother beat her until she finally gave up the ghost.

Efforts to speak with the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, ASP Aliyu Usman, proved abortive as he could not answer the phone calls put across to him as at the time of filing this report.
