The lifeless body of one Mr. Dele Ogundeyi, was on Saturday recovered from a well on the Aperan Way in Omu-Aran, Kwara.
According to reports, Dele, 65, was before his death, a retired Secretary of Offa Local Government Area Liaison Office and hailed from Ile-Nla compound in Omu-Aran.
One of the deceased’s relation, Mr Abdulkareem, said the deceased reportedly went missing on Saturday at about 11 a.m.
“He was the bread winner of the family and a caring, easy-going man and the entire family is still in shock over Dele’s demise.
“We searched through the neighbourhood and later traced him to a site along Aperan way where his lifeless body was found inside the well located in front of an uncompleted building and a farmland belonging to him, at about 4 p.m. on the same day.
“His body has been removed from the well and deposited at the Adeyemo hospital’s mortuary in the town,” the deceased’s relation added.
