A 60 year-old man, Ogunmola Kayode has been paraded with his twins sons, and two others by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Chapter for allegedly stealing and slaughtering goats in Akure, the State Capital.
Other suspects include, Kehinde and Taiwo Ogunmolaa, Stephen Isaac and Ifenyin Okonkwo.
According to NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Kayode Balogun, the suspects were arrested at Fadeyi street, Oshinle quaters in Akure around 5:30 am yesterday morning.
They were alleged to have been with 13 goats already slaughtered, while 10 out of the goats were pregnant and 1 of them was in labour when it was slaughtered.
Balogun said the suspects were still under interrogation and would be charged to court for prosecution immediately after investigation.
He urged the good people of the state to always give timely information about criminal activities to the security agencies in order to nip them in the bud.
