About six persons have died and fourteen others injured when a military helicopter crashed in Dakar, Senegal on Wednesday.
A government statement said the injured persons were receiving treatment at a regional hospital in Kaolack.
The helicopter went down in a mangrove forest around Missirrah.
The helicopter was carrying 20 people including four crew.
Army Spokesperson, Abdou Ndiaye said in a statement that rescue workers confirmed that, “Six persons died at the scene of the incident.”
It added that, “14 passengers were wounded, 3 seriously.”
