Four persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal road accident that occurred at Nkwo Ezeagu along Enugu Onitsha Expressway.
DailyPost learnt that at least eleven persons also sustained various degrees of injuries in the accident which occurred at about 9pm last Monday.
An eye witness said the auto crash occurred when a DAF Truck with registration No XA805 FUN collided with a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number XZ 192 ENU.
When contacted, the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu confirmed that four persons died in the accident.
He disclosed that the remains of the dead victims had been deposited at our saviour Hospital mortuary 9th Mile Corner Ngwo.
Amaraizu added that the injured victims were swiftly taken to unity Hospital, Ngwo for medical attention after the accident.
He however, said that the identities of the victims were yet to be ascertained.
