34-year-old nursing mother electrocuted In Ogun State

A 34-year-old nursing mother was electrocuted while spreading her clothes on a clothing line at the back of her home on Thursday, just few days after a policeman and his ward lost their lives to the same electrocution in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

DailyPost gathered that the victim, identified as Comfort Bitrus, until her death, was a resident of Oke-Ibode area of the state capital, Abeokuta.

According to a source, the victim, a nursing mother of a three-month-old baby was spreading her washed clothes on a rope when she had a contact with a live wire and was electrocuted instantly.

Mrs Bitrus reportedly died on her way to the hospital.

“The Doctor on duty at the State General Hospital confirmed her dead, “the source said.

Report states that the body of the victim was deposited in a morgue while family members were making arrangement to collect the corpse for burial.
