3 Soldiers, retired Naval Officer shot dead in Bayelsa

Reports reaching our newsdesk indicate that a retired Naval Officer and three Soldiers attached to the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) were on Tuesday morning shot dead.

The Barge driver was also taken away along the waterways of Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa.

They were reportedly attacked while escorting an empty barge from Warri to Port Harcourt to load petroleum product around the area. Details shortly.
