Reports reaching DAILY POST says no fewer than 3,000 legislative aides to Senators and members of the House of Representatives are currently protesting over the non-payment of salaries and allowances at the National Assembly.
The aides are accusing the lawmakers of owing them several months of entitlements, an action that has made it difficult for them to meet their basic needs.
