A 29-year-old woman, Felicia Dormans has shot and killed her 28-year-old lesbian wife, Laura Bluesstein in their home in Mill Street, Mount Holly, New Jersey, United States.
Police in Burlington County were called by of Bluestein’s relatives, saying there had been an assault at the residence.
The Police arrived at the house and found Dormans dead from a gunshot wound to the face.
Laura Blusstein, who played the husband role in the marriage was still inside the home and was taken into custody by the police.
Police are still trying to ascertain what caused Bluestein to shoot her wife.
She has been charged with murder, weapons possession and tampering with evidence. She was booked into the Burlington County Jail and was set to make her first court appearance Monday afternoon.
A message on Dorman’s Facebook page showed the couple had been married for a year.
Both their Facebook accounts are filled with pictures of them together smiling and kissing in happier times.
Photos showed that they had recently taken a vacation to the beach.
Bluestein has a criminal record including convictions for drug possession in 2012 and 2014.
