The operatives at Ejigbo Police Division have made an arrest of a 37-year-old man for allegedly raping a 16-year-old boy at his residence in Ejigbo.
The suspect, Chineecherem Prince, a native of Abia state was said to have indulged in the act at his residence at Araromi Street, Ejigbo, according to police reports.
Neighbours at his residence stated that they had long been in suspicion over the manner at which the young boy made his way into his residence, noting that on the day he was caught, there was a loud scream by the teenage victim who was subjected to anal sex by the suspect.
The police, after conducting a search at Prince’s residence affirmed that there were sights of used condoms, stained with blood which he used on the victim.
The Ejigbo Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, disclosed that he has been transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for further interrogations while the victim was taken to the Mirabel Centre, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, for treatment and rehabilitation.
