Former Kano State Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, has said that the All Progressive Congress has already gone to it’s early grave ahead of the 2019 elections.

Shekarau while speaking to DAILY POST in Bauchi, attributed the development to the party’s monumental failure to redeem the plights of Nigerians.

The former Education Minister added that the performance of APC was far below their claim of the change mantra as most Nigerians are subjected in poverty and hunger.

According to Shekarau, APC are is suffering from the fever of losing 2019 elections especially when its supporters are aggrieved following the party’s failed attempt to hold congresses. “Let me tell you that supporters of APC have contacted PDP to dump the ruling party, alleging injustice and lack of fairness. The party seems to have forgotten what befell the opposition in 2015 elections,” said Shekarau. He stressed that there is no doubt come 29th May, 2019 that the APC would be dethroned. He said the current insecurity in some parts of Nigeria was a strong indication that APC was gradually sliding.

In PDP, we abhor violence which is a common thing under APC-led administration, especially when several citizens are killed in Benue, Taraba and other states.
