2019: What will happen if Nigerians refuse to reject Buhari – CUPP

The Coalition of Untied Political Parties, CUPP, has released what it described as a New Year message to Nigerians.

The parties said that a new dawn for the country will begin with the sacking of President Muhammadu Buhari from the Presidential Villa in 2019.

According to CUPP, this is the only way people of this country can forget the pains of years of the APC maladministration.

This was contained in a statement signed by CUPP spokesman, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere on Monday.

The coalition noted that the coming year will be more bloody and painful if Buhari is not rejected at the polls.

The statement read, “The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has deemed 2018 as a year when poverty, job loss and impunity was promoted by the Buhari-led administration.

“2018 was a year when poverty, job loss, impunity, tribalism, deliberate destruction of lives and properties were promoted by the APC-led administration against it’s own people.”

“A new report by The World Poverty Clock shows Nigeria has overtaken India as the country with the most extreme poor people in the world. India has a population seven times larger than Nigeria’s.

“The struggle to lift more citizens out of extreme poverty is an indictment on successive Nigerian governments which have mismanaged the country’s vast oil riches through incompetence and corruption.

“The 86.9 million Nigerians now living in extreme poverty represents nearly 50% of its estimated 180 million population.

”As Nigeria faces a major population boom, it will become the world’s third largest country by 2050, it’s a problem that will likely worsen.”
