The leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Chief Edwin Clark, has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, against rigging the 2019 elections.

He warned that Nigerians would not tolerate any manipulation of the results of the 2019 elections.

Speaking when he received a delegation of the Christian Campaigners of Nigeria, CCN, at his Asokoro residence, Abuja, over the weekend, Clark insisted that Nigeria needed a new President.

The former federal Commissioner for Information also warned that any attempt to rig the election would provoke the anger of Nigerians.

According to Clark: “If we cannot speak now, then we should keep quiet forever. This country needs a new President. Come out and cast your vote.

“Anybody who rigs the next election is rigging Nigeria out of existence. We want free, fair and credible elections.

“This country belongs to all of us. Nigerians must be allowed to choose their leaders under a free atmosphere. We must resist any attempt to rig the 2019 elections.”
