Senator Abdullaziz Nyako representing Adamawa Central Senatorial district has called on the electorate in Adamawa State not to waste votes on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

He declared that the APC’s lifespan ends in 2019.

Speaking in Yola, the Adamawa State capital when the newly elected executives of ADC paid him a courtesy visit in his Jimeta home, he said the APC-led government in the state had been ravaged due to injustice against the people of the state.

He said the people of the state had been treated as ‘less mortals’ in the last three years, insisting that political leaders who took electorate for granted should be taught a bitter lesson.

The lawmaker was saddened that government of Governor Jibrila Bindow did not take cognizance of heterogeneous nature of Adamawa in his dealings, stating that the state was more divided now than before.

The lawmaker opined that the people of Adamawa were the easiest to govern “if their cultural and religious background are taken into consideration by the governor.

“We were born here. We were brought up here and we understand our culture as well as our religious beliefs and I can tell you that our people are easy to be governed.

“In the last three years, it has been attrition against the people by this administration,” he said.

Nyako explained that he was relieved to have defected to the ADC before the Senate went on recess, adding that mass defection by federal lawmakers was a signal to end of time for the APC.
