2019 presidency: What Atiku’s emergence has done to our party – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has revealed that the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as its presidential candidate, has strengthened the membership of the party.

The party claimed that membership of the party had soared with millions of Nigerians joining its fold.

Atiku emerged as the main opposition party’s presidential standard bearer, beating off challenges from 11 other aspirants.

In a tweet on its official handle on Wednesday, the party wrote, “Since the emergence of @atiku as our Presidential flagbearer, our membership strength has soared with millions of hitherto apolitical Nigerians daily joining our fold.”
