Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Tuesday pointed out what the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar will do if elected.
Jonathan stated that the former Vice President would ensure the peace and unity of Nigeria if elected in the forthcoming February 16 election.
He spoke during the PDP’s presidential election campaign at Ox-Bow Lake in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The immediate past president described Abubakar as the best candidate to emerge winner at the polls.
“Political office should not be used to punish people; Atiku has love and understands Bayelsa state and the whole Ijaws, he will definitely bring the whole country together in unity and togetherness,” he said.
