2019 presidency: Stop playing God, there are alternatives to Buhari – Afenifere attacks El-Ruf

The pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere has reacted to a statement by the Governor of Kaduna State that there are no alternatives to President Muhammadu Buhari as Nigerians look forward to the 2019 presidential election.
The group described the governor’s statement as funny, while asking him to stop playing God.
El-Rufai’s statement which he made during an interview with Channels Television has received a lot of backlash.
Spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin told Vanguard, “That’s a funny statement. It’s like playing God. There is nothing that doesn’t have an alternative.
“To say that there is no alternative to Buhari El -Rufia is playing God over the affairs of Nigeria and he has taken it too far.
“There are thousands of better alternatives to Buhari. It is an insult to Nigerians for him to say that there is no alternative to Buhari.
“Well he is one of those said to be nursing presidential ambition. It’s all eye service to Buhari.”
