A former Governor of Jigawa state and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, Alhaji Sule Lamido has alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is planing to buy votes during the forthcoming general election.
Lamido made the allegations while addressing PDP supporters at a campaign rally in Gwaram local government area.
He explained that APC was planing to woo the electorates’ support by bribing them with token money to get their votes in the February 16 election.
Lamido urged voters to be wise and cautious with different kinds of hardship being intentionally imposed on Nigerians by the APC administration.
“When they give you money collect and vote for the PDP,” he insisted.
The former presidential aspirant said the APC has for over three years, suffered the electorates, abandoned them without developmental projects.
He said Nigerians have realised that they have made great mistakes by voting for APC in 2015 and will not repeat same in the 2019 general election.
Lamido maintained that the 2019 election was between competence and incompetence, between security and insecurity, between genuine political leaders and para-civilian and between achievements and failure.
