The National Chairman f the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, on Wednesday said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was “working for foreign interests.”
Oshiomhole made the claim while address supporters during the APC presidential rally in Abakaliki township stadium in Ebonyi.
According to the APC Chairman, Abubakar, who wrote letters to the United Kingdom, Unites States and European Union, was appealing to “western sentiment to take over Nigeria’s economy.”
He, however, declared that, “The right to defend Nigeria’s sovereignty is not negotiable.”
The former Edo State Governor also warned that Abubakar’s alleged submission to western interest would have a “negative effect on the economy and pauperise the people.”
Oshiomhole urged Nigerians to reject the PDP presidential candidate, stressing that foreign nations cannot impose a leader on the country.
