A political group, under the aegis of Atiku Rescue Nigeria Campaign Mission, ARNCM, has claimed that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president of Nigeria is the only qualified person that can sincerely restructure Nigeria without bias.
The National coordinator of the group, Alhaji Asuwaju Babafemi made this known at the weekend while addressing journalists shortly after the inauguration of the South-east zonal officers of the group
He said: “If you look at the present condition of this country and compare it with what it was in the last general election, the change that we wanted is not we are seeing now. The youths of this great country have been silenced and kept in the dark.
“This is the right time for us to stand up and take the leadership of this country, but we realized that we cannot do that on our own. We need somebody that knows the political terrain, somebody who can take power out from the cabals that are controlling the present government.”
He revealed the readiness of the youths to ensure the total victory of the ex former vice president, who according to him was the only person qualified to restructure Nigeria without bias.
“This is because the youths of this country love Atiku. The present condition of Nigeria cannot continue to be managed by someone who do not have leadership quality or the intellectual capacity to move the country forward.
“The youths want someone who can see other geopolitical zones of the country as one and equal. We don’t want someone who will tribalize others,” he stated.
Ealier in a remark, the south east zonal coordinator, Apostle Godwin Obasi called on all Nigerians to support the former vice president to ensure that Nigeria was rescued in the 2019 general election.
“Nigeria is in dire need of qualified leaders who can move the country forward to the next level in 2019 and beyond.
“We support, with all our hearts, Alhaji Atiku Abubaka not only to win 2019 general elections, but to chase out ethnicity, religious bigotry, civil strife, nepotism, endemic corruption and other ills that slow down our socio-economic and cultural development,” he added.
