Doyin Okupe, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has warned a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, of the looming danger if he (Tinubu) fails in his new assignment to reconcile aggrieved members of the ruling party.
President Muhammadu Buhari had few weeks back, appointed the former Lagos State Governor to head the team that would see that all members of the party were speaking in one voice ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Tinubu, who had already commenced work, along the line accused some members of the party of sabotaging his effort to bring balance into the party.
In a Facebook post on Friday evening, Okupe prayed God to give Nigeria a good leader that will see to the numerous issues facing the country while calling on Tinubu to make sure he does not fail.
He wrote, “To Asiwaju Tinubu. When a hunter’s gun fails to fire,he becomes an enemy of the animal and a let down to folks waiting for meat@home
“God of all Creation, there is so much disorder,discord, deceit,despair& disillusion. Now is the time to help us,our leaders and our Nation.”
