The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, on Thursday raised the alarm over what it called a fake delegation to the presidential Villa, Abuja.
This was contained in a statement issued by Comrade Obinna Achionye, the Deputy National President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth council.
He said in the statement made available to DAILY POST that some fifth columnists have been sabotaging the interest of Igbo Youths.
According to him, “from intelligence report available to the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, impostors have been invited by the directorate, Youth mobilisation of APC Presidential Campaign Council, to a meeting of the National Youth leaders with President Buhari on 1st February 2019 against the interest of Igbo Youths.
“Any decision reached there will not be binding on Igbo Youths, and we wish to let our dear President know that those attending the meeting are spies who will reveal the details to their pay masters.
“We thereby disown those who have been billed to meet President Buhari tomorrow being 1st Feb 2019 as not members of Ohanaeze Youths, and they will surely work against President Buhari in the forthcoming election, as their pay masters will gather intelligence for them and use it against President Buhari.”
