Ayodele Fayose, the Governor of Ekiti State, has insisted that he has no preferred presidential aspirant among those jostling for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, the Governor said he was remaining neutral for now.
“Though the governor as a human being, a leader and party member, is entitled to have his own choice, for now, he has remained neutral.
“As the chairman of the PDP’s Governors’ Forum, he has remained neutral.
“Alhaji Atiku has visited him, Rabiu Kwankwaso has visited him and Taminu Turaki has also visited him. Before now, Sule Lamido has visited him, Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo has equally visited him,” Adelusi said.
Fayose has dropped his own presidential ambition, stating that it is because the All Progressives Congress (APC) rigged the last governorship election in the state.
