Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose has taken an inch further in his quest to become Nigeria’s next president in 2019.
Fayose, who is gunning for the office of the president on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has flooded the streets of Abuja with his campaign posters.
Check by DAILY POST Thursday morning, showed that the posters were decked on walls and major bridges across the nation’s capital.
A visit to the popular Nyanya under bridge showed that the posters with different designs and inscriptions were spotted all over the place.
In one of the campaign materials, Fayose could be seen dressed in an Igbo traditional attire with a screaming inscription that reads: ‘meet your next President 2019.’
The posters were also spotted around AYA, Asokoro, Kaduna-Abuja expressway, Gwarinpa, Kurudu and other places.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has admonished the Ekiti governor against his ambition to be the party’s presidential candidate in 2019.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, urged all members of the party to respect the zoning formula which was adopted for both its presidential ticket and the position of the national chairman.
