Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to report that a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential aspirant, Rabiu Kwankwaso was prevented from using the Eagle square to declare his intention.
The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) yesterday claimed that the Federal Government had ordered the Police to seal the Eagle Square, ahead of Kwankwaso’s official declaration for presidency.
Reacting to the clam, Fani-Kayode insisted that Buhari can’t stop Kwankwaso from contesting.
In a tweet, the PDP chieftain said the former Kano State governor has been made stronger and popular by such action.
“You cannot stop Rabiu Kwankwaso by preventing him from declaring his intention to run for the Presidency at Eagle Square and sealing the place up.
“By doing that, you have only made him stronger and more popular . Whoever @OfficialPDPNig fields will beat you hands down in February,” he tweeted.
