The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has announced extension of submission of the party’s Expression of Interest and nomination forms purchased by aspirants jostling for elective positions in the upcoming 2019 general elections.
The extension came as a result of the recent retreat organized by the National leadership of the party for aspirants on its platform.
The National chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, made this known via a post on his verified Facebook account, on Sunday. He announced Friday September 14, as final date for submission of the forms.
The chairman also announced September 15 and 16 for the screening of House of Assembly aspirants.
Oye, said, “Due to the forthcoming retreat for aspirants and the need to give those that purchased our expression of interest and nomination forms sufficient time to complete and return them, the deadline for the submission of the forms for all elective offices has been moved from September 11, 2018 to September 14, 2018.
“The screening of House of Assembly aspirants has also been moved to September 15 and 16, 2018. The dates for other primary election activities remain as published. All persons concerned should take note and comply accordingly,” Oye added.
