Ahead of next month’s Presidential election, the presidential candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Engr. Yabagi Sani has insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians.
Speaking at an interactive session on Wednesday in Abuja with all ADP candidates contesting elections across the country, he lamented that APC government led by Buhari disappointed Nigerians by abusing the privileges afforded them in 2015.
Speaking about the activities of ADP, Sani stated that the party was competing well, disclosing that they were about to be the second most accepted political party in Nigeria.
He reminded all the candidates to believe in themselves and resist anti-party activities, stressing that the party has superior manifesto over all other political parties which the electorate were already aware of.
“Believe in yourself as candidates. You know reasons you are contesting on ADP platform and don’t get involved in anti-party for whatever reasons.
“Remember that it is the party logo that appears on ballot paper and not your name. Therefore, you should promote your party rather than another one else,” he charged.
Sani stated that the party’s feedback mechanism revealed that ADP has its tentacles at the grassroots and expressed optimism of winning the presidential election slated for February 2019.
Sani further revealed that some Nigerians based in the United Kingdom have shown interest in making ADP a model of political party in Africa.
“It is interesting to let you know that in the course of my consultations, some Nigerians in U.K. are ready to provide technical assistance towards making ADP a model of a political party in Africa,” he added.
