2019 election: You must be neutral – PDP warns INEC, security agencies

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday warned the Independent National Election commission, INEC, and securities agencies in the country to be neutral in coming general elections.

The National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, gave the warning in Jigawa State during the party’s presidential campaign held at Dutse Idil Ground.

He boasted that the mammoth crowd that welcomed them at Duste was a clear a confirmation of PDP victory in coming polls.

“You cannot rig this election INEC. You can not rig this election securities agencies, you must be neutral and give Nigerians their mandate,” he warned.

Secondus said it was a clear indication that Nigerians were tired of theAPC and its styles of leadership and they want change and bring somebody who will uplift their living standard.

“Nigerians want someone who can bring back joy, happiness and unity back to our people.”

The former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, said that the state was for the PDP and assured that Jigawa people will massively vote PDP in the coming general election.

Lamido also urged PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to complete Hadejia valley irrigation project abandoned for over 42 years,Gaya to Jahun to Kafin-Hausa road project and Kwanar-Dumawa to Babura road projects if elected as president on February 16.

The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on his part; promised to fulfil all the requests made by the Jigawa people; if elected.
