Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has told the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, that he (Obasanjo) was watching his (El-Rufai) performance.
Obasanjo said this at the public presentation of a book, ‘Politics As Dashed Hopes in Nigeria’ written by Dr. Auwalu Anwar, in Abuja on Thursday.
Governor El-Rufai, who was the guest speaker at the occasion, was represented by his Deputy, Barnabas Bantex.
The occasion was also attended by former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was represented by former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Also present at the event were, former National Secretary of the Congress for Progressives Change, CPC, Buba Galadima, Spokesperson of apex Yoruba Socio-cultural organization, Afenufere, Yinka Odumakin, among others.
Obasanjo, who was the Chairman of the occasion, while rendering his vote of thanks, told Bantex, “Thank you for coming, please give our thanks and regards to your boss.
“Tell him that his boss sent a message to him. Tell him that his boss is watching his performance.”
