The Benue State Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), has approved the constitution of a council for the ORTOM/ABOUNU Governorship Campaign Organization.
The campaign team would be led by Terngu Shawon.
Also to headline the re-election team of the governor, are: former Senate Presidents, David Mark, Iorchiya Ayu, immediate past Benue governor, Gabriel Suwam and Rt Hon Orker Jev.
Others in the team are Hon John Ngbede, Comrade Abba Moro, Hon (Chief ) Margret Ichen, Chief (Mrs) Rebecca Apezan, Chief ( Mrs ) Abeje Egwa, Dr Joe Nyam
“Further appointments to the campaign council will be announced in due course.
“All other candidates of the party are directed to consult and seek the approval of the party before constituting their various campaign organizations in the state,” Hon Ejembi Ogwuche, Media Adviser to the PDP Chairman, said in a statement.
