2019: Buhari should address marginalization of Ndigbo – Umahi

The chairman of the South East Governors’ forum, Chief David Umahi has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately address the issue of marginalization of Igbo people.

Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi state made this known in Abakaliki while addressing prominent stakeholders of the state at the Ngele Oruta township staduim.

He noted that it was time for the federal government addressed the problems of Nigeria.

Umahi said: “we believe in the equality of all zones of the nation. But we call on the federal government to look into the plight of the south east zone and address the issue of marginalization.”

“This is because we believe in one Nigeria, that is founded on equity and fairness and fair play. We also believe in the sacrosanct of human lives,” he stated.
