A member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ebenezer Babatope, has vowed that the party will never allow Senator Iyiola Omisore to leave the party.
He said this while describing the former Deputy Governor as an invaluable member of the main opposition party.
Babatope said this when he fielded questions from Punch in Osogbo, Osun State, at the weekend.
Babatope, a former Minister of Transport, pointed out that the PDP would do every legitimate thing to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun in the forthcoming governorship election.
The former Director of Organisation of the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria, said: “Senator Omisore is a valuable member of our party.
“We are going to reconcile him with the party and everybody. We are not giving up on him. We will talk to him and we are confident that he will listen to us.
“We have even started talking to him and we are sure that by the time we finish the dialogue , all aggrieved members will be appeased.”
