A former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday paid a courtesy call on ex-Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi.
Abubakar visited Makarfi, a fellow presidential aspirant on the platform of PDP, at his residence in Kaduna.
The Waziri of Adamawa, according to Channels Television, visited the former Kaduna State governor in a bid to solicit support ahead of the party’s primary election.
Abubakar described the “APC government as a total failure and therefore must not be allowed to continue in office in 2019.”
The former Vice President also assured that he was willing to support any other aspirant of the party who emerges as candidate through a credible process, should he lose in the presidential primary.
